Big Smile

I woke up with a big smile on my face today for so many reasons:
- only 18 days of school left
- someone called me doctor - my first reaction was to look around to see who they were talking to. :)
- I was thinking about my Dad - how we've talked about him thanking the Lord for his walker. Remembering that I need to thank the Lord for things also - even things I don't like. It makes such a difference in my attitude when I remember to thank the Lord for the little things. :)
- today I started throwing away my plastic dishes instead of washing them to reuse because I have enough left. It's amazing how decadent it feels to throw them away even though they're plastic - you know, the ones you use for big picnics so you don't have to do dishes? Yeah, that's what I've been using since January looking forward to this very day - the day when I can actually throw them away instead of washing them. :) What fun!

Here are just a few of the things I'm really looking forward to:

Attending activities that the kids are partaking in:

Mom saying, "do NOT take my picture right now!"

Hangin' with the fam - camping, cooking out, celebrating birthdays.......

(Yes, I know - God has blessed me with the most beautiful, the cutest, the most brilliant, the most imaginative, most hilarious, most talented.......well, I could go on forever but just suffice it to say, I have the greatest nieces and nephews in the world and I'm soon going to be a great aunt!! How much fun will that be?!?)

Catching up with dear friends.......

There's so much more but I'm running out of space. You all get the picture though. Even though this chapter of my life has been a great learning and growing experience, I'm looking forward to being home with the friends and family that God has blessed me with. Thank you for being a part of that group!
